Target Party Contacts - video transcript

This example shows how to perform a mail merge to contacts that have previously booked a party which match the criteria you have selected on the Detailed Party Searches Screen. You can also watch a similar video of how to mail merge members if you have the optional membership module.

In this example we are sending letters to 4 contacts who have previously booked a disco party.

Once you have finished selecting the contacts you want to send a letter or a reminder too , simply press the mail merge button.

You are asked to give this mail merge data file a name and save it.

Once saved you can either merge this file with your merge template now or merge it later from within microsoft word at a later point in time.

Lets merge it now. Choose the appropriate merge template you have designed.

Hey presto the program merges the appropriate contacts into the merge template.

You are able to customise the mail merge templates to your own style and add or remove mail merge fields to fit your content.

The merged document looks highly personalised and is a fantastic marketing tool to keep in touch with your clients.
